Medical disclaimer

The therapies provided in Mito Core health suites relate to hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), HOCATT sauna, Hugo PEMF, iMRS PEMF, Intermittent hypoxic training, cold thermogenesis and photobiomodulation. Therapies are intended for wellness, general adaptation and cellular health and is not specific for treatment of individual diseases. Always ask your provider any questions you may have regarding a medical condition or treatment, or about suitability of the adaptive therapies.

Fragrance free policy

Due to the toxic chemicals generally contained in fragrance products, we choose to be fragrance free for ourselves, our families and our clients. We ask that you respect this and do not wear perfume or scented body care products when attending Mito Core. For more explanation read our article on Multi Chemical Sensitivity. Our cleaning company is using eco-friendly, non-toxic and biodegradable cleaning products to service our premises.

Herbal prescriptions and nutritional supplements

Formulations may be prescribed by your practitioner. Herbal liquids may be made for you onsite or ordered and posted if you are not local.

For supplements and nutraceuticals, in particular ‘practitioner only supplements,’ your team can, without any obligation, help you to place an order for them through a compounding pharmacy or online suppliers. You will then receive your items through Australian post within a few days.

How do I receive a referral to other services or practitioners?

Your practitioner may deem it necessary to refer you to another practitioner or specialist in order to help support and manage your condition as part of a more comprehensive program. This may be to other experts within or outside of Next Practice GenBiome. Any suggested referrals will be discussed and provided during your consultation.

How should I communicate with the care team between appointments?

The most efficient way to communicate with us is via email (mitocore@nextpracticehealth.com).

Most issues are best dealt with during your consultation with your practitioner.

If you require a discussion on any treatment decisions or additional pathology, these will are best during a consultation as opposed to email our team will advise you to make an appointment.

If you are experiencing problems with undertaking any part your treatment plan - such as alterations in your diet, or supplements, or medication, we expect you to us so that we can guide you to rectify any difficulties.

How can I make an appointment?

Online booking is the best way to make an appointment with Mito Core. You do not need a referral letter. Link

Mito Core provides naturopathic care and is not a medical practice. We do not see clients with acute medical needs. Clients who wish to see a doctor should make enquires to Next Practice - GenBiome.

When should I book a follow up appointment?

Your practitioner will let you know the suggested follow up intervals and your appointments can be booked accordingly. These can be done for you with your team before you leave the clinic, or by yourself at home through the online booking system. Depending on the type of follow up or therapy, please also take note on the length of follow up that you need.

What is the best way to get to Mito Core?

Mito Core is located in Edgecliff, in Sydney’s Eastern suburbs.

The address for Mito Core Health Suites:

Mito Core is located opposite to Genbiome in Edgecliff Court. Edgecliff court is a few meters away from the corner of New Mclean Street and New South Head Road.







Arriving by train (3 minutes walk from Edgecliff station)

Edgecliff station is located in the Eastpoint Food Fair Centre.

From the station, follow the left exit labelled New McLean Street. Once outside the shopping centre, cross the road via the pedestrian crossing and turn right walking down New McLean street. The clinic is 140 metres down the road on the left hand side, up the stairs or ramp access into Edgecliff Court. Suite 4 is located on the ground floor across the beautiful courtyard garden, in the corner.

Alternatively you can follow the right shopping centre exit in the direction of New South Head Road (recommended in wet weather). When exiting the shopping centre, turn left walking down New South Head Road. Arrive at New McLean Street and cross the road at the traffic lights.

Driving to the clinic

If you are driving to Mito Core, timed metered parking is available on New McLean Street and the surrounding streets.

Parking is also available at Edgecliff Parking, the entrance is on New McLean Street under the Aldi sign of the shopping centre. The first 90 minutes of parking are free.

150m further into New McLean Sreet, just before the roundabout, you can also park at the Eastpoint carpark; the first 120 minutes are free.

Is there accommodation close to the practice?

Yes, we recommend Unit 2, which is available on Airbnb. It's the closest option to our practice. You can find it here: Unit 2 on Airbnb.

What are other accommodation options?

  • Intercontinental Double Bay: A luxury option within walking distance. It's near more shops and restaurants but further from the train station.

  • Savoy Double Bay: A basic, affordable option next to the Intercontinental, offering convenience at a lower price point. While we haven't tested it, it's a well-located budget choice.

  • Sydney Potts Point Central: A stylish hotel offering easy access to public transport and a lively area with restaurants and cafes. Slightly further from the practice but still a convenient choice.

  • 9 Springfield Lodge: A charming boutique hotel in Potts Point with modern amenities. It's a bit further away but offers a quieter, cozy atmosphere and good value for money.

Yes, there are various Airbnb and boutique hotel options slightly further away that may also suit your needs.

How will I receive my appointment confirmation and reminders?

When booking online you will receive a confirmation email and can elect for an additional SMS confirmation. You will also receive an SMS reminder two days prior to your appointment.

How can I reschedule or cancel an appointment?

If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please notify the clinic or cancel your appointment at least two business days prior to the appointment. Cancellation messages left on weekends or after-hours will be treated as made on the next day the practice is open. A non-attendance fee of 100% of the consultation fee will be charged if you don’t attend or notify us in the required time frame.

Reminder texts or calls are a courtesy to clients, and it is your responsibility to attend all appointments on time, else cancel or reschedule appointments in a timely manner. Where a client cannot be contacted, confirmation is assumed, and a cancellation fee will apply.

Are your services covered by private health cover?

Naturopathic consultations and Mito Core services are not covered by private health cover nor Medicare.

How do I receive a bill or make a payment?

Mito Core is a private clinic so we do not bulk bill. Please refer to the fees page on our website for more details. We accept payment by credit and debit card through an EFTPOS terminal for Visa and Mastercard cards. We do not take cash payments and no cash is held on premises.

All Telehealth consultations will require to have your credit or debit card details on file prior to the consultation. We are using a secure system to keep your details in an encrypted way. The amount will be debited only have the consultation is due.
